Nearly 30Years of client results

At Digineer, you’ll take on some of a client’s hardest problems. A transformation has stalled. A deadline is closing in. The plan looks sound, but the people doing the work know something is wrong.

You step into the uncertainty. Ask rigorous questions. Challenge your own assumptions. Bring people with competing priorities toward a decision they can act on.

The work is demanding. Some stretches are grueling. You’ll need the discipline to stay with a problem, the confidence to have difficult conversations, and the humility to change course when the facts call for it.

You’ll work alongside Digineer colleagues who hold themselves to those same standards. People whose thinking you want in the room, who challenge you and follow through.

And as you work through the client’s challenge, something shifts.

The team sees a way forward. A stalled program starts moving. A decision becomes a change that works.

You helped make that happen. That feeling stays with you. It draws you to the next challenge. It’s why you chose this career.

Give your ambition somewhere to go.

Work with people whose thinking you want in the room.

You have high standards for your own work. You expect the same from the people beside you.

Here, that means asking sharp questions, sharing what you know, and doing what you say you will. Taking the lead when the work needs it. Giving credit where it belongs. Addressing a problem before it becomes someone else’s surprise.

There’s room for a better idea, a spirited debate, and a laugh along the way. You can take the work seriously and enjoy the people doing it.

How we hire

Show us how you think.

Let’s see what we could build together.

You have ambitions. So do we.

The steps below give us a chance to challenge each other’s thinking, explore whether our work deserves your talent, and see whether your talent can raise the standard here.

Bring your toughest questions. We’ll bring ours.

Could you make this team stronger? Could we make you better? Let’s find out.

Step 01

Start with what makes you effective.

Our talent assessment adds perspective on your strengths, working style, and the environments where you do your best work. It helps shape the conversations that follow and our approach to finding the right first engagement.

Once you apply, you’ll receive a link to begin the assessment.

Step 02

Show us what you’re working toward.

If your experience fits the work we’re building toward, we’ll connect over Microsoft Teams, coffee, or a visit to our North Loop office.

We want to understand your ambitions and what you’re doing to reach them. Come ready to reflect on the experiences you’ve pursued, the challenges that have stretched you, and what you’ve learned when things didn’t go as planned.

Together, we’ll explore how the future you want connects with what we’re building at Digineer.

Step 03

Talk shop. Show your depth.

Connect with a peer who understands your field and shares your interest in doing the work well.

Expect a rigorous conversation about the problems you love solving, the thinking behind your decisions, and the experience you bring to demanding work. Bring examples that reveal how you approach complexity, adapt, and deliver results.

Ask questions that help you understand the expertise and standards of the people you’d work alongside.

Step 04

Challenge us. Expect the same.

This conversation looks at the contribution you’re ready to make and the responsibility you’re ready to own.

Come prepared to discuss how you lead, bring ideas into practice, earn client trust, and help a team succeed when the work gets difficult. We’ll explore whether our ambitions and expectations bring out the best in each other.

You should leave convinced that you can make this team stronger and that this team can make you better.

Step 05

Build your future on the right first step.

An offer means you’ve impressed us with what you can bring to Digineer, and you see a future worth building here.

Step 06

A strong future starts with the right first engagement.

Expect yours to be chosen with purpose: work that draws on your strengths, stretches you, and puts you where you can make an impact. Nearly 30 years have taught us that the right beginning sets the tone for a lasting career at Digineer.

Your offer is contingent on securing that first engagement. We’ll discuss the terms and timing directly with you and confirm your start date once the engagement is secured.

Growth

You bring the initiative.

Your development is yours to drive. Ask for feedback. Pursue a harder problem. Learn something you can use, then put it to work.

Digineer provides shared practices, resources, and colleagues to learn from. You bring the curiosity and the follow through. The value is in what you do with them.

Commitment Based Management

Make commitments people can count on. Within your first three to six months, you’ll learn our operating methodology: set clear expectations, make reliable commitments, and address breakdowns through conversations that lead to action.

Organizational Change Management

A new system or process only delivers when people use it. Build your understanding of how change takes hold and apply it in your position, from recognizing resistance to supporting adoption.

AI in Practice

Recognize where AI can improve the work, and where it won’t. Develop the knowledge to evaluate ideas, ask better questions, and turn a useful application into a practical approach.

The Craft of Consulting

Consulting 101 and 201 develop how you put your expertise to work with clients. Explore Digineer’s practices and resources, sharpen your recommendations, and strengthen how you carry decisions into delivery.

The expectations are clear: deliver results, make the client look good, contribute useful thinking, and take initiative to move the work forward.

These shared learning experiences are part of being a Digineer consultant. Bring your own experience into the conversation and carry what you learn into the work.

Digi Day

Learn from your peers. Quarterly Digi Days bring colleagues together to exchange client insights, explore technical approaches, and strengthen how we communicate and collaborate.

The opportunity is to learn from work you haven’t done yet and contribute something others can use.
