The position

A client needs a project delivered. They also need someone who can recognize when the plan no longer fits the facts and recommend what to do next.

As a Project Manager at Digineer, you’ll work with client sponsors and delivery teams to define the outcome, establish a practical delivery approach, and lead the work through implementation. You’ll learn the business context behind the project so you can make informed recommendations about scope, priorities, resources, and risk.

Across healthcare providers, health insurance and PBM, health and wellness, and industrial services, your assignments could modernize an application, implement a platform, or redesign a workflow.

Clients will rely on you to communicate directly, surface difficult tradeoffs, and follow through. You’ll keep the team focused on delivery and ensure the result addresses the business need.

What you’ll do

  • Define project scope, deliverables, milestones, and responsibilities with client stakeholders.
  • Establish a delivery approach suited to the project’s objectives and constraints.
  • Lead projects across the software development lifecycle.
  • Apply Agile practices and adapt delivery processes as the engagement requires.
  • Coordinate resources and dependencies across multiple projects.
  • Track progress, assess risks, and resolve obstacles to delivery.
  • Recommend adjustments to scope, schedules, or resources when conditions change.
  • Lead teams without relying on direct reporting authority.
  • Build sponsor relationships and present status, recommendations, and decisions to senior leaders.
  • Keep stakeholders accountable for decisions and commitments.

What you bring

  • At least three years of experience managing IT projects.
  • At least two years of project management experience using Agile methodologies.
  • Experience managing all phases of the application software development lifecycle.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and shared resources.
  • Strong problem solving skills and the ability to lead teams toward practical solutions.
  • Experience presenting to the C suite and building stakeholder and sponsor relationships.
  • Confidence raising issues early, explaining tradeoffs, and following decisions through to completion.

Additional experience we value

  • PMP certification.
  • Prior consulting experience.
