The position

A client is making a significant investment. Multiple projects are underway, but progress on individual plans does not guarantee the business will get the result it needs.

As a Program Manager at Digineer, you’ll partner with client leaders to establish direction, assess delivery health, and lead complex IT programs through implementation. You’ll connect business objectives to the program roadmap and create the governance needed to make timely, informed decisions.

Our clients span healthcare providers, health insurance and PBM, health and wellness, and industrial services. An assignment could involve coordinating a transformation, leading a major systems implementation, or restoring control to a program that has missed its commitments.

You’ll work close to the challenges leaders are still thinking about at the end of the day. They’ll expect an accurate assessment, a practical recommendation, and follow through.

What you’ll do

  • Define program objectives, expected benefits, scope, and the delivery roadmap with client leaders.
  • Integrate project plans, schedules, resources, and financial dependencies.
  • Assess delivery health and recommend corrective action when performance puts outcomes at risk.
  • Establish governance that makes accountability, decisions, and escalation paths clear.
  • Manage program expenditures, forecasts, and estimates to complete.
  • Identify risks, develop response strategies, and monitor their effectiveness.
  • Communicate status, issues, tradeoffs, and required decisions to executives and steering committees.
  • Guide project managers and connect their work to broader program objectives.
  • Resolve conflicts across stakeholders, teams, and vendors.
  • Integrate third party deliverables into the program plan.
  • Manage formal change control and align program practices with enterprise governance.

What you bring

  • A demonstrated record of successful IT program delivery.
  • Strong budget management and financial forecasting skills.
  • Experience managing stakeholder and executive expectations.
  • Ability to lead across project, delivery, and release management.
  • Experience mentoring and guiding project managers.
  • Strong conflict resolution skills and confidence addressing difficult issues directly.
  • Ability to turn complex program information into clear recommendations and decisions.

Additional experience we value

  • Prior consulting experience.
