Michael Lacey
President and CEO
Michael Lacey is the founder and CEO of Digineer®.  In 1998 Michael founded the firm at the age of 29 and has since built an award winning, multi-million dollar organization.  Under Michael’s leadership, Digineer has experienced more than 60% growth every year for the past four years.  In 2006, Michael was recognized by Fortune Small Business as one of Winning Workplaces’ “Best Bosses”. He has also been named to the Twin Cities Business Journal’s “40 under 40”, a list of the top business executives under 40 and was a finalist for the Minnesota High Tech Association’s 2006 Emerging Leadership award.  In January of 2007, Michael was profiled in Upsize Magazine after Digineer was named the Business Builder of the Year for its growth strategy in 2006. The company has been named two years running to Twin Cities Business Journal’s “Growth 50”, a list of the fastest growing firms in Minnesota. In addition, Digineer has attained the Inc 500, Inc Magazine’s list of the fastest growing privately held firms in both 2005 and 2006. In 2005, Digineer was the number one technology firm in Minnesota to make the Inc 500 list.

Prior to founding Digineer, Michael’s experience included senior project manager and director level positions at several Fortune 500 firms. He was responsible for the strategy and implementation of leading edge online systems at major corporations including Blue Cross Blue Shield and American Express. In his first decade of experience in the technology industry, Michael implemented and managed groundbreaking systems for the insurance and financial services industries. Michael was promoted to his first director position at the age of 26. Michael holds an undergraduate degree from Michigan State University and a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Minnesota.


Douglas Reynolds

Chief Operating Officer
Doug Reynolds is an accomplished and versatile executive with a record of leadership, performance and profitability in rapidly changing, dynamic environments in the U.S. as well as Europe.  Doug has held leadership roles (Chief Operating Officer, CIO, VP/IT, IT Director and Business Unit Director) in companies as diverse as Allianz, Best Buy, Delta Dental, Prudential Insurance and Information Advantage.  Doug has a demonstrated history of developing and executing strategies that deliver business focused technology and operational efficiencies, exceeding financial targets, and maximizing organizational contribution.  In recognition for his focus on rigorous accountability for results, Doug was honored as an Elite CIO by Insurance and Technology magazine in 2004.

Doug was an executive at Allianz Life Insurance of North America during an explosive four year growth period that took the company from one billion to over twelve billion in annual new business premium.  He was also instrumental in the growth of Best Buy’s online business, leading the effort to develop the website and re-launch Bestbuy.com in 2001. 

Doug holds a bachelors degree from Metropolitan State University, and a Master of Business Administration from the University of St Thomas.

Tom Brady
Chief Financial Officer
Tom Brady, who joined Digineer in October 2006, serves as Chief Financial Officer.  At Digineer, Tom is responsible for all aspects of internal and external financial reporting, as well as information technology, legal, operations and general administration. Previously, Mr. Brady spent 19 years with KPMG, LLP, most recently as Audit Partner, where he was responsible for corporate audits in a wide range of companies and industries with revenues ranging from under $10 million to over $1 billion. Tom also serves as a Board of Director and Chairman of the Audit Committee of Winland Electronics, a publicly-held contract manufacturing company based in Mankato Minnesota, and he serves as a Board of Directors and Chairman of the Finance Committee of Feed My Starving Children, a non-profit organization.  Tom is also on the Church Council and serves as Chairman of the Finance Committee of Lord of Life Lutheran Church. Tom holds an undergraduate degree from the University of South Dakota.


Lucinda DuToit
Human Resources Director
Lucinda DuToit joined Digineer in September 2005 as Director of Human Resources.  At Digineer, Lucinda is responsible for driving the strategic initiatives for all aspects of Digineer's human resources including employee recruitment, performance management, development / training, compensation / benefits, and employee relations.  Lucinda's expertise is in working with companies on the verge of high growth phases and establishing a strategic framework for how HR interacts and enhances the employee's employment experience, along with building efficiency and effectiveness for other departments to succeed in hitting targeted company profit and growth.  Lucinda has more than 10 years of experience in HR management, most recently serving as Director, HR at Shavlik Technologies.    Lucinda holds a Bachelor of Arts in Management with an emphasis in Marketing and Psychology from Buena Vista College in Storm Lake, IA.
